This was my first experience on a sleeper car and I thought it was great. I can sleep just about anywhere and quite well once I'm tired (qualities I inherited from my father I believe). The train didn't provide any food services but luckily we had loaded up on snacks and water before we left. In many ways, it turned into a guy's sleep-over as we chatted about women (don't worry Diane, Fernando thinks and speaks only of you), missions, jobs, etc. It was a fun trip and added the uniqueness of our trip and created some great memories.
